Eligibility Requirements for Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Post-UTME

If you want to apply for admission into the National Diploma (ND) programmes at Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, here are the requirements you are expected to meet to be eligible:-

  • You must have chosen Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as your first choice in the 2025 UTME. If you didn’t, you can still apply by changing your institution to Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti through the JAMB portal.
  • You must have scored at least 120 in the 2025 UTME.
  • You must possess at least five (5) credit passes in your O’Level examinations (SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates must be 16 years or older by 30th September 2026.

NABTEB candidates should note:-

  • For Engineering and Agriculture courses, you must have a core technical subject. Subjects like Bookkeeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretarial Studies are not accepted.
  • For Business courses, the NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) is acceptable.
  • For Science, Computer, or Agriculture-related courses, NABTEB Technical or General Education certificates are allowed.
  • For Environmental courses, NABTEB NTC or NGC certificates are acceptable, depending on the department. 

All applicants must upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS, including awaiting results, to be considered.

How to Apply for Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Post-UTME

Applying for the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti Post-UTME is straightforward and can be completed entirely online. Follow these steps carefully to ensure your application is successful:-

  • Go to the official application portal at students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and generate your payment invoice. This invoice will include the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number needed for payment.
  • The Post-UTME form costs ₦2,000. You can pay via Remita at any commercial bank or make an instant online payment using your ATM card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve). Ensure you print the payment invoice before completing the transaction, as the RRR number on the invoice is required to finalise your application.
  • After your payment has been confirmed, return to the portal and log in using your RRR number. Carefully fill out the application form, providing accurate personal information, course choice, and contact details. Double-check everything before submission to avoid errors that could affect your application.
  • Once your application form is submitted, print out your acknowledgement slip and your completed screening form. These documents are mandatory for the Post-UTME screening exercise, so keep them safe.
  • If you haven’t done so already, make sure your O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS, including awaiting results. Only uploaded results are recognised during the screening exercise.
