The management of River State University (RSU) has officially released the cut‑off marks for admission into all the courses and departments offered by the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates seeking admission into the university, including applicants from across Rivers State and other parts of Nigeria, must ensure they meet these cut‑off marks, especially for their chosen programme, to improve their chances of gaining admission.
While the general minimum cut‑off mark for admission is 190, as set by the school, each department has its own specific cut‑off mark that must be met. In addition, some cut‑off marks may differ based on whether a candidate is applying under the indigene or catchment categories. For this reason, it is important for candidates to carefully check the exact requirements for the department they intend to study before applying.
Below is the complete list of cut‑off marks for all departments offered at River State University, showing merit, catchment, and pre‑degree requirements where applicable. Ensure you go through this information properly and confirm that you meet the required scores before proceeding with your application.
