• A Mobile Phone: Only if you plan to check your results via SMS.

• Through SMS using MTN, Airtel, or Glo networks
• Directly at the WAEC offices using the Result Checker PIN

How to Check WAEC GCE 2026 Results

Checking Results Online via WAEC Result Checker Portal

• Go to the official WAEC Result Checker portal at www.waecdirect.org.
• Enter your exam number (this includes your centre number and candidate number).
• Select 2026 as the exam year.
• Choose SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT as the type of result you want to view.
• Enter your WAEC Result Checker PIN and Serial Number.
• Click Submit, and your results will appear on the screen.

Checking Results via SMS

If you prefer using SMS, or your internet is not available, you can check your results using MTN, Airtel, or Glo:-

• Open the SMS app on your phone.
• Type your message in this format: WAECExamNumberPIN ExamYear. Example: WAEC1234567890121234567890122026 Make sure there are no spaces between your WAEC code and details.
• Send the SMS to 32327.
• You will receive your results via SMS. Note that this service costs ₦30 and works only for MTN, Airtel, and Glo users.
