Like every other university course, gaining admission to study Quantity Surveying in Nigeria requires you to meet certain requirements from the beginning to the end of your admission process. JAMB Subject Combination for Quantity Surveying

To study Quantity Surveying in any Nigerian university, the English Language is compulsory in JAMB. The three other subjects you are required to select are:-

  • Chemistry, Geography, Biology, Economics, or Art

This means your complete JAMB subject combination should be:

It is important to choose these subjects correctly during your JAMB registration. Selecting the wrong subject combination can affect your chances of gaining admission, even if you meet the required cut-off mark.

JAMB Cut-Off Mark for Quantity Surveying

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) generally sets 140 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into universities in Nigeria.

However, you should understand that this score does not guarantee admission at all. Most universities offering Quantity Surveying usually require higher scores due to competition.

To be on the safe side, your target should be 180 or above, and even higher if you are applying to more competitive schools.

O’Level Requirements for Quantity Surveying

In addition to the subjects listed above, you must also have one other relevant subject, such as:

  • Geography
  • Biology
  • Economics
  • Technical Drawing
  • Fine Art
  • Further Mathematics
  • Or any approved technical or vocational subject related to construction

All required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry Requirements for Quantity Surveying
